Quality Control / Domestic Production Assistant

Hourly Rate: $18/hour

**ON-SITE POSITION**

Position Overview:

The Quality Control Assistant will work closely with the Quality Control team to support and maintain the quality assurance processes throughout our production operations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, and analysis of products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Your attention to detail and ability to identify and report any deviations from specifications will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence.

This role will work in tandem primarily with Wantable’s production and shipping departments as well as various other teams. This role’s mission is to:

• Perform QC on all production, and reports findings to contractor and Head of Production
• Understand fabric, patterns, tech packs, graded specs, and construction techniques
• Be a liaison between Production Department, Shipping Department, and contractors

Responsibilities:

• Receive cut tickets in AIMS based on final PO packing list count
• Update Inventory report for blanks in warehouse
• Receive/stamp packing lists and invoices and send pictures of stamped packing list to [email protected]
• Drivefrom contractor to contractor, including cutting contractors, subcontractors, s/o contractors
• Work with printers and dyers for approvals.
• Consolidate packing lists to PO’s
• Work with the pattern maker for garment details.
• Collect TOPs for approval from Prod Dev team/ Tech Designer. Send pictures of TOPs using personal phone.
• Pick up trims/supplies
• Update LA production sheet
• Update AIMS production tracking
• Pull/cut fabric for cut orders, binding, and contractors. Transport cut orders when needed to contractors.
• Prepare trims for sewing contractors cut orders
• Pull pantone chips to ensure graphic TOPs match with graphic order request
• Keep library of all tie dye order forms/pantones used for orders
• Deliver and pickup fabric rolls and boxes of merchandise when needed.
• Communicate daily with buyers/merchandising team via email
• Pull blanks for graphic orders
• Transport production/fabric from one contractor to the next treatment , whether it is PFD garments or blank garments for screen-printing contractor, binding, finishing
• Keep track/collect all sewbys from contractors for future orders
• Communicate daily with all contractors using personal phone
• Engage with contractors; follow up cuts, making sure sewers have all necessary to complete orders on time and with no quality issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a quality control or similar role within a retail production or manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and provide clear and concise reports.
• Good organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
