Job Summary

We are a fast-paced technology company with passion for developing cutting-edge solution for telecommunication industry. We are looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance Professional with demonstrated proficiency in Quality Management principles, procedures, metrics and compliance requirements for standards such as UL listing, Safety, NEBS, and TL- 9000.

What you'll do

The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for driving the quality programs to assure conformance, compliance, and certification from the standards organizations.

Following are the essential functions:

· Interact with Development Group, Manufacturing Department, and Project Teams to prevent compliance issues, research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes, develop compliance policies.

· Determine compliance by establishing compliance test standards; conduct and witness tests; perform diagnostic procedures; measure performance; analyze and evaluate findings; perform forensic analysis of failures; supervise sub-contractors.

· Document compliance by completing approval applications; recording test results; preparing investigative reports; preparing and filing Declarations of Conformity; maintaining compliance.

· Interact with Development Group, Manufacturing Department, and Project Teams to ensure that processes, controls, and checkpoints are properly applied and documented to conform to quality standard processes.

· Develop, revise, enhance and maintain Quality Management supporting procedures and documentation.

· Monitor manufacturing and customer support Quality metrics to generate Quality Engineering reports and present them to functional and upper management.

· Monitor for complaints and defects in supply-chain or production, prioritize them, do root-cause analysis, alter tests and procedures as required, take corrective action, and bring them to closure.

· Engage with regulatory bodies and Quality specialists to keep abreast of the industry trends and developments.

· Establish effective interaction with wide spectrum of team members, stakeholders, and suppliers to discuss potential nonconformance risks and provide proactive corrective action if needed.

· Take leadership role in preparing, assisting, facilitating, and coaching other departments to keep all Quality related metrics, scorecards and documentation updated and ready for review during pre-audit exercise as well as for the audit.

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and proficiency in general Quality Engineering methodology:

· Knowledge of EMC and Safety regulatory requirements.

· Knowledge of NEBS regulatory requirements, such as GR-63 and GR-1089.

· Experienced in Quality inspection monitoring and measurement techniques for complex electronic assemblies and components.

· In depth understanding of TL 9000 and ISO 9000 compliance procedures and requirements.

· Understanding of advanced inspection methods, acceptance criterion, manufacturing assembly and test techniques.

· Maintaining a sense of urgency for audit readiness. Avoid scramble as the date approaches.

· Comfortable conducting company-wide pre-audits and act as a lead company representative during audits for Quality certifications.

· Ability to read technical journals, engineering design documents, standard bodies publications, contractual documents and do other analysis.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with suppliers, team members, management, and stakeholders.

· Strategic and critical thinker who understands the big picture of the business needs and applies it to Quality processes with diligence and attention to detail.

· Proficiency in Quality related automation tools is a plus.

· Experience as TL 9000 or ISO 9000 Auditor is a plus.

Must Have

The successful candidate must have:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is a must. Graduate degree is a plus.

· 5-8 years related experience.
