Job Description

Summary: The Quality Assurance Review Associate is primarily responsible for conducting Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) for each branch. Reviews are conducted to ensure adherence to the internal controls and policies set in place. The role will also include report reviews for accuracy and completeness and assisting with branch File Maintenance responses.

Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $57,500 to $65,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location.

All applicants must attach a recent resume. Ability to travel to Dime's branches in the boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan) at least once a month is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Branch and Private Banking Proof & Aging monthly reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Travel to Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, or Manhattan branches as needed.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Review team with replying to branch File Maintenance responses in AccountGuard.
  • Prepare final review reports to Branch Managers, Regional Managers, and Audit, Compliance and Retail Operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide feedback to better enhance the QAR process and participate in the QAR Program Periodic Procedure update.
  • Conduct a review of all items on the QAR Checklist.
  • Establish a trust partnership with Branch Management by working with them to obtain items necessary for a QAR.
  • Maintain complete files and supporting documentation for samples reviewed.
  • Enter and maintain findings into the Bank’s issue tracker system.
  • Identify and document the process used to select samples.
  • Work with Branch Management to remediate findings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or minimum 3 years’ related work experience with minimum 2 years’ Branch Operations experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of regulations as they pertain to Bank Operations.
  • Able to travel to designated branches.
  • Must comply with all state and federal regulations.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data.
  • Demonstrate ability to interface effectively with various levels of management.
  • Must be able to find a high-volume, dynamic, and team-focused environment engaging.
  • Ability to travel to the boroughs roughly once a month.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
