Job Description

Quality Manager


Overview:

This innovative, fast growing chemical company is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team! This role will be based out of a plant in Atlanta, Georgia and will lead the charge to optimize future safety, efficiency, quality and costs. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader of people with the ability to drive change and motivate direct reports


Responsibilities for the Quality Manager:

  • Operate within the department budget
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints
  • Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across the Plant
  • Implement and maintain facility quality systems
  • Responsible for compliance with regulatory and ISO training requirements
  • Oversee the Quality Lab to meet applicable standards

Qualifications for the Quality Manager:

  • Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology or related technical field
  • Experience in a LEAN Manufacturing environment
  • Certified Quality Auditor Certification
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • 5+ years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of ISO
