Quality Assurance Manager Jobs

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:

- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure products or services meet customer expectations and comply with regulatory requirements.

- Establishing quality metrics and performance indicators to monitor product and process performance, identify trends and areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

- Leading and managing a team of quality professionals, including training, mentoring, and coaching staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and supply chain, to ensure that quality standards are integrated into all aspects of the product development and manufacturing process.

- Conducting audits and assessments of suppliers, internal processes, and product quality to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

- Investigating and resolving customer complaints, quality issues, and non-conformities to prevent recurrence and improve overall quality performance.

Qualifications/Education/Special Skills

- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in an engineering discipline or 5-7 years related experience

- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality and/or quality-related engineering

- At least 2 years of supervisory experience

- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485

· Certified internal or lead auditor preferred

· Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge
