Job Description
  • Responsible for sign off for work packages
  • Issue materials receiving report for the delivered materials.
  • Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Program and ensuring incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
  • SAP skills a plus
  • Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.
  • Demonstrate Safety at the highest goal not to injure anyone or hurt, or endanger the environment.
  • Identify nonconformance on material and process
  • Follow specs and guidelines set forth by Client and agency
  • Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements.
  • Maintain records
  • Strong problem solving capability
  • Good communication skills and team player
  • Assisting Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer such as steel reinforcement checking same as in construction drawing.
  • Following up the concreting works in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test.
  • Analyze data and detect problems or trends and manage appropriately
  • Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
  • Able to read P&ID’s and Iso’s
  • Control and preform all types of inspection on civil, piping, fixed equipment, mechanical, and structural steel.
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.
  • Manage process improvement on project and turnaround
  • Have some NDE certifications (RT, PT, ect.)
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
  • Must have a TWIC card/valid Driver's License
  • Experience: 10 years with direct involvement in refinery or chemical plant inspection, maintenance or operations
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • NCCER Certified preferred.
