Qa Test / Analyst Consultant

The QA Analyst supports various client teams throughout the SDLC. The QA Analyst will be responsible for QA Testing Approach, QA Test Planning, QA Test Execution, Results/Defect Reporting and Deployment & Maintenance.

This is a 6 months contracts with potential extensions.

Position: QA Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

The QA Analyst supports various client teams throughout the SDLC. The QA Analyst will be responsible for the following activities:

QA Testing Approach

• Identifying any test data/ test environment needs for the project.
• Identifying project assumptions and constraints.
• Defining/refining test entry and exit criteria.
• Gathering approved requirements and business processes.

QA Test Planning

• Holding test plan reviews with project stakeholders and obtain test approval
• Defining which types of QA testing will be performed.
• Designing a Test Plan document.
• Designing test cases to validate the approved requirements and ensure test coverage/linkage.

QA Test Execution, Results/Defect Reporting

• Opening defects as needed against failed test cases.
• Documenting QA test results.
• Executing the approved test scenarios.
• Assisting UAT team in supporting of UAT test execution (as mutually agreed upon, if requested).
• Performing defect management.

Deployment & Maintenance

• Identifying regression test candidates.
• Performing additional smoke/regression testing, as needed
• Participating in sandbox testing, as requested.
