Summary: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for a Software QA Test and Automation Engineer. This role sits hybrid in Atlanta, GA. you would be directly responsible for the frameworks, tools, and integration of test cases into our software development lifecycle. This would include integration into CICD pipelines, identifying tooling, and strategy. You would lead by example and work with both development and functional teams to write test cases and ensure test automation tools function properly while mentoring developers to ensure they are properly defining unit tests for their respective modules as well as write integration and/or UAT validation tests for a new transportation management software solution. You would partner with our software engineering and functional teams to understand needs and ensure we have the right strategy in place to build high quality, well tested software solution driven though repeatable automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor less-experienced team members
• Experience in developing DevOPs pipelines enabling automated testing, reporting + enforcing quality standards and checks
• Able to compare/contrast and recommend testing frameworks for front and backend testing
• Lead vendor data integration, establish integration and data standards
• Bring a “how can this break” mentality and ensure we have test cases for it
• Provide examples and help developers understand how to define test cases for their modules
• Apply security testing concepts such as secure development lifecycle and DAST/SAST testing in collaboration with the DevOPs lead
• Identify and drive data driven decisions
• Develop and organize test case library, monitor adoption and usage along with addressing challenges of test cases
• Partner and collaborate with the DevOPs Automation Engineer to determine pipeline integration strategy for code merging, building, validation, and deployment
• Collaboratively establish and provide guidance to team and others on test driven development, negative testing, and other best practices
• Partner with functional team to understand, document and build tests for UAT and other critical functionality that needs to be validated

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree
• Able to easily adopt and learn new technology
• Ability to understand complex problems and data
• Lead by example mentality
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as Azure (preferred), AWS and/or Google
• Prior development experience is highly encouraged
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Robot, WebdriverIO or others
• Familiarity with a programming languages and software development concepts
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
• Experience with Azure DevOPs or other tools for Agile delivery and test case management
• Ability to follow company policies and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed
• Understanding of data flows/interfaces between systems and protocols used to enable them
• Good collaboration and time management skills
• Able to efficiently develop in languages like GoLang and Python as well as enabling specific automation frameworks for Python
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
• Experience with modules, applications and infrastructure that support containerized applications and workloads
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven track record to deliver on time and with a high degree of quality
• Experience participating in agile based software development teams
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to learn additional programs as needed
• 3-5 years of relevant job experience, inclusive of the following:
• Clearly understand and be able to articulate different types of testing such as Unit, SIT, QA, Pen, negative testing, and how and where they should be applied
• Ability to understand the impact this role has on our department or company
