Handles functions of industrial applications of analytical chemistry with overlapping Research and Development and Quality Assurance disciplines.

Responsibilities

:
Essential
  • Inventory of Lab Reagents, Standards, Supplies, etc.
  • Helps with sample retain and destruction
  • Cleaning and acid-washing of Glassware
  • Keeps current on all federal GMP and GLP regulations
  • Releases analytical results using JDE database
Additional
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

:
Essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read fine print and distinguish color shades/hues.
  • Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filing, typing, writing, etc.
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to distinguish differences in tastes and odors.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Sit or stand with intermittent walking for duration of shift.
  • Visually read reports, computer screen, etc.
  • Ability to work under stress on multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally in all situations.
  • High School education
  • Computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills.
Additional
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
