Looking for a hands-on job that will keep you on your toes? Do you have an innate ability to troubleshoot and fix things that just aren\'t working? We\'re currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis (through September) and we\'re offering a pay rate of \$16 per hour (plus \$350 retention payment each pay date, through August 2023).

As our Maintenance Technician, you\'ll be responsible for responding to and completing work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, window and door repair and replacement, painting, cleaning, and other general repairs at our Head Start Facilities. You\'ll also perform scheduled preventative maintenance and assist with some yard care as needed. You\'ll serve as backup for our Inventory Control Specialist and Delivery person as needed, helping us to keep our operations running smoothly.

If you\'re the type of person who loves a challenge and enjoys working with your hands, then you\'ll fit right in with our team. We\'re looking for someone who has experience in general maintenance, the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and knowledge of safety practices. You\'ll also need to be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently when needed.
