As a QA Intern at KX, you will be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary focus will be on executing test cases, identifying and reporting issues, and contributing to the overall improvement of our software development lifecycle. This internship will provide you with exposure to various aspects of software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and document test results.
- Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in test plan and test case reviews to provide feedback and improve test effectiveness.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test data and test environments.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Participate in team meetings and provide status updates on testing activities.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in software quality assurance and a desire to learn and grow in this field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
