Purchase And Inventory Control Manager

GG Homes is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Purchase and Inventory Control Manager to join our team in the construction materials industry. Purchasing and inventory control is a critical aspect of any construction project, and we are looking for someone who understands the importance of getting materials to the right place at the right time, negotiating favorable pricing, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. As the Purchase and Inventory Control Manager, you will have a significant impact on our ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and logistics knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures

Schedule deliveries of construction materials to multiple locations

Negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and delivery schedules

Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials

Manage the purchase order process from beginning to end

Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Prepare reports for management on procurement and inventory performance

Monitor budget and expenses related to procurement and inventory control

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and inventory control in the construction materials industry; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers

Knowledge of supply chain management software and inventory control systems

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
