Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions, a Taylor Corporation, is looking for Inventory Control Lead to work in our West Sacramento, California location. The position is responsible for receiving incoming raw materials, maintain accurate receiving (including records in Kanban operating system), and deliver raw materials to production floor.
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and coordinate with Account Managers on reorders.
  • Work with internal teams on improvements to current inventory system.
  • Work with Procurement on preferred delivery method of new orders.
  • Reconcile inventory value versus expected value on hand.
  • Review inbound reports from offsite warehouse versus expected deliveries
  • Evaluate damaged product and work with Procurement of disposition/replenishment.
  • Investigate discrepancies with onsite receiving, offsite warehouse receiving, and internal inventory counts.
  • Send product releases from offsite warehouse.
  • Reconcile offsite warehouse inventory to internal quantities.
  • Review current inventory on hand against product minimums daily.
  • Ensure compliance to established inventory count procedures.
  • Utilize Printstream, Mainframe, and Great Plains inventory systems to monitor local and sister company inventory levels.
  • Manage and maintain relationship with offsite warehouse.
  • Coordinate with Account Managers for ad hoc spikes in volume.
  • Review aging inventory and work with Account Management team on disposition.
Your Shift:
  • Monday- Friday and some weekends
  • 7:00am - 3:30pm
You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Prior warehouse/receiving experience
We Would Also Prefer:
  • Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Familiar with basic computer operations.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language (verbal and written).
  • Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals are required to follow instructions.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stoop/bend, kneel, squat, reach, drive (delivery of roll stock).
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift.
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $24.50– $28.00 per hour . The actual hourly rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
