About the Role:
The Public Relations Account Manager is responsible for leading public relations strategies and execution on PR accounts as well as serving as the main point of contact on accounts within the PR department and complementary services. The Account Manager leads teams by proactively assessing the needs of his/her clients and fellow team members and putting together strategic plans to set an organized cadence for completing tasks. This person should be able to efficiently execute media results that move the needle for clients.

Responsibilities:
Maintain high rates of client satisfaction and manage overall health of PR and Influencer accounts
- Leads creative brainstorms and inspires collaboration
- Additional responsibility may include managing part time and full time team members
- Implement comprehensive strategy and plan for all account activities
- Has a firm understanding of client budgets and KPIs
- Serve as the Account Manager and day-to-day contact for various clients, ensuring strategy is moving forward and deadlines are met
- Closes the loop on assignments and notify team members when action items are complete
- Account Manage PR client accounts and complementary cross-channel clients as main point of contact leading client communication, reporting, and maintaining high rates of client satisfaction
- Conducts media training with clients and team members
- Leverages deep rooted relationships to garner top tier feature stories
- Leads, manages, and holds account teams accountable to deliverables and goals
- Maintains positive client relationships which contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company
- In the weeds pitching when client account team support is needed
- Responsible for managing media pitching workflow with full account team and driving results for client roster
- Contributes new ideas to better the overall performance and efficiency of the agency
- Communicates “big picture” logistics and tactics to teams & clients
- Serve as resident expert on PR accounts
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of leading account strategy development and team workflow as an Account Manager or Account Supervisor for PR clients
- Growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
- CPG Media Relations experience highly recommended but not required
- 1+ year of Management experience with direct reports recommended but not required
- Extremely strong attention to detail and follow through
- Minimum of 5-7 years of client-facing media relations experience
- Passion for supporting in team growth and development
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication
- Passion for Public Relations with a keen creative eye
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
