Business Development Assistant


Securitas Security Services USA, Inc, the world's leading full-service security company, is looking for a talented Business Development Coordinator in New York, NY.


This critical role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative, high-energy, and detail-oriented individual. As a business development team member, you will report to the VP of Sales and play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission of ensuring safety for everyone while supporting our sales and growth efforts.


This position combines administrative and marketing support activities to drive sales and maintain our leadership in the northeast.


Responsibilities of the Business Development Coordinator include:


  • Lead Routing and Parsing: Managing and organizing leads for effective distribution.
  • Ad Hoc Region Presentation Support: Assisting with the preparation of presentations as needed.
  • SFDC Reporting: Active use of Salesforce.com for timely and accurate reporting and data analysis.
  • RFP Prequalification and Tracking: Assisting with the evaluation and tracking of Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunities.
  • Proposal development support and production: Assist in the creation of proposals with a focus on aesthetics and branding.
  • Marketing Event Optimization: Support the development and coordination of regional prospect events.
  • Bid Response: Support with the preparation and coordination of RFP responses.
  • Social Media Curation and Support: Assist with the management and content creation for social media platforms.
  • Group calendaring: Help with the coordinating of schedules where required.


The Region Business Development Coordinator will work with the VP of Sales and help analyze reports, track information, and assist with various administrative tasks related to


The following qualifications are preferred:


  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions in written, oral, and visual formats.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Basic mathematical knowledge of computations and reconciliation.
  • Salesforec.com (or similar), MSFT Suite, PPT, HubSpot proficiency
  • Technology aptitude
  • Customer service orientation and a focus on delivering results
  • The ability and interest in working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience in formal bid proposal response
