Expected annual base salary range: $46,100 to $64,500
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Specialist is responsible for providing support on studies to be assigned by the Project Manager. The Project Specialist will coordinate multiple language documents on all paper translations and eCOA implementation projects in accordance with VeraSci SOPs, guidelines, work instructions, client agreements, and any other relevant specifications.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Exposure to a project management team environment desired. Must have at least six (6) months of demonstrated administrative experience supporting projects and programs
  • Ability to work directly with a diverse translations team
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to problem solve project issues
  • Attention to detail skills required. Must take pride in work product results; strive towards 100% accuracy in work processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, support multiple projects concurrently and manage a variety of tasks
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Appropriately escalate any risks to project specifications and timelines to senior management
  • Monitor the translation steps of the project to ensure vendor compliance with agreed upon schedule, deadlines, and budget
  • Coordinate multiple language documents within a study from initiation to sponsor delivery as directed by the project manager
  • Coordinate with study, science, and technology teams on project status, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here
  • Review material provided by vendors to ensure accuracy with the project specifications
  • Coordinate communication with external vendors needed on the project (e.g., translators, editors, clinicians, license holders)
  • Follow and document Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices during the project lifeline
