Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Management/Leadership team, the Proposal Project Manager/Writer develops incoming Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFI). You will work cross-departmentally with Sales, Client Services, and various other departments to ensure the creation of a compelling, dynamic proposal that highlights BeneCard PBF’s value proposition and helps secure future business opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop customized proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), consultant/client questionnaires, and other requests for information

• Review new RFPs to understand the dynamics of each

• Attend strategy calls to discuss RFP requirements

• Collaborate with Proposal Writers, Sales Executives, Underwriting, and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to generate proposal responses that are compelling and accordant with both BeneCard PBF’s operational capabilities and proposed financial offer

• Circulate draft responses for internal review and incorporating edits

• Assemble final proposal, including RFP forms and required exhibits

• Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met with high quality

• Assist with proposal templates and content updates on an ongoing basis

• Support best-in-class initiatives and other departmental activities/objectives

• Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or business is preferred

• Three years of professional project management and/or writing experience, preferably in the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) or healthcare industry

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to create partnerships with all departments throughout the organization

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro
