Our client, Koja, is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to support the company’s Marine segment in the United States. About the position

This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated Project Manager to be part of Koja’s continued growth in the United States. As Project Manager, you will be fully responsible for ensuring effective and long-term project implementation, management, and development for KOJA’s Marine sector customers in the US. The ideal candidate for this position will bring his/her passion for technical project management and customer service along with outstanding planning, communication, and negotiation skills. We expect you to be comfortable in a fast-paced multinational environment. This position will report directly to the CEO and VP of Koja USA. Travel of up to 50% is to be expected, mostly domestic and some international. Your responsibilities include:

  • Apply your expertise in project management to manage core elements of project integrations, scope, scheduling, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement, and stakeholder management
  • Implement, manage, and develop projects efficiently for Koja’s Marine segment across the US market
  • Develop long-term project management cross-divisionally, consistent with Koja’s values and guidelines with respect to safety, quality, and business ethics
  • Cultivate a work environment that ensures long-term customer satisfaction
  • Lead all project management planning including scope identification, budget & resource planning, and ongoing communication and collaboration with team members and customers



What we expect from you

Education & Work Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is a plus but not a requirement. We also value HVAC training and other technical certificate programs.
  • Outstanding English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to lead, manage and inspire high-performing teams, communicating vision and setting goals
  • 3-5 years of experience in project-based business and technical project management
  • Experience working in a multinational matrix business environment along with a passion for collaboration with multinational teams
  • Robust knowledge and/or experience in HVAC systems or other technical systems in Cruise Vessels
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, mostly domestic, some international
  • Experience negotiating and understanding complex contracts
