Job Description
Overview


Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and the VNACJ CHC executive team, the Project Manager is responsible for oversight of specific projects as part of the organization’s strategic plan.


Responsibilities


  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues up, down, and across the organization
  • Requests clarification and additional information when needed
  • Monitors budgetary status and compliance
  • Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position
  • Ensures that project completion is in line with all relevant regulatory standards and requirements
  • Receives direction from the CEO and executive team regarding projects in need of execution and oversight
  • Leads effective and efficient meetings with all relevant stakeholders
  • Applies evidence-based project management principles and techniques to effectively manage and progress multiple high-priority projects simultaneously


Qualifications


  • Thorough understanding of information technology and ability to organize, analyze and synthesize complex data from various sources
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Hospital Health Care, Medical Administration or a related program
  • Five to eight years of experience in health care administration with strong working knowledge of community health center administration, laws and regulations pertaining to community health center operations
  • Strong knowledge of HRSA FQHC Community Health Centers regulations and funding
  • Advance analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Car and valid driver’s license.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate effectively with peers, staff and outside contacts.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
