Our client is seeking a proven “leader of leaders’ to drive scoping, planning and execution of a complex and highly visible IT initiative that will involve multiple workstreams. The candidate we present will not only have a broad range of skills and experience but will also embody the leadership characteristics and behavior traits we consider vital to success.

The customer is developing a custom, cloud-based bid management application with a direct and significant influence on the sales organization's capacity to provide job quotations across multiple municipalities in North America. The application will incorporate artificial intelligence, full stack tech, Azure, and several integrations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables. Conduct quality checks to ensure that project objectives are met.
• Manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Change Management: Manage changes to project scope or requirements. Assess the impact of changes on the project and adjust as needed.
• Schedule Management: Maintain project schedules, track progress, and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and motivation to the project team. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and address project issues and roadblocks. Work with the team to find solutions and keep the project moving forward.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management. Provide regular updates on project progress.

Skills Required

• Smartsheet
• Experience Managing 3rd party venders
• Waterfall, Agile
• SDLC
• Prior experience managing full life cycle SaaS and custom-based Cloud applications
• Comfortable building presentations and speaking to steerco members
