Project Manager Responsibilities:
Client relationship management
Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients
Effective time management and decision-making ability
Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources
Manage project budgets, tracking, minimizing exposure and risk in the project
Monitor the progress of the construction activities and oversee progress meetings
Responsible for pre-construction meetings
Maintain strict adherence to the project budgets, schedules, quality, and safety standards
Responsible for schedules, RFI's, submittals, change orders, monthly pay applications
Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
Negotiate all contracts scope and price
Manage all correspondence with the Customer, Architect, Engineers, and Subcontractors
Additional duties as assigned
Project Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent
Strong project management and leadership skills
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing industrial and commercial projects
Ability to read and understand construction documents
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Experience with Procore is a plus
Experience with Bluebeam is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
Thorough knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication
Reliable transportation to and from the project
Able to work in all elements of the outdoor environment which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
Able to access all areas of the jobsite that includes stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc.
Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc.
