We have partnered with a technology company in the Washington, DC area to provide them with a Project Manager. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Project Manager

#1. Active TOP Secret / SCI Security Clearance.

#2. Must have experience in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban execution.

#3. Must have Federal Cloud and Cloud costing model experience.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10yrs.

Responsibilities Of The Project Manager

Cloud Management

• Billing Customers (chargeback)
• Cloud Costing Models
• Federal Cloud program experience

Project Management

• Manages the overall project plan, timelines, and delivery
• Effectively collaborates with delivery partners to ensure alignment on minimum viable product scope.
• Provides regular project status reporting to related stakeholders.\
• Interact with vendors as necessary to ensure continuing alignment and scope of delivery components.
• Actively tracks and reports on project risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and dependencies.

Change Management

• Must be able to work independently with little to no daily supervision, is a team player, open to ideas and learning.
• Work closely with customer to implement and/or consult requested solutions.
• Informs change management efforts to enable successful delivery and adoption
• Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients.
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Work as a team member closely with the Project Manager, Business Analyst, Technical lead and others to ensure implementations are completed on time and within budget
• Provides guidance in communication and training needs to impacted stakeholders.

Requirements Of The Project Manager

• Cloud costing models
• Subject matter expertise in project life cycles
• 6+ years of project management experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to create and manage project timelines.
• Experience in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban execution
• Initiative-taker with ability to overcome barriers to entry, and quickly identify decision makers.
• Ability to think and execute strategically and execute tactically.
• Federal Cloud experience
• Agile management system experience such as VSTS or JIRA
• Billing customers (chargeback) Cloud
• 2+ years Microsoft Office Project proficiency
• Experience collaborating with vendors in project delivery.
• Proven experience in leading/overseeing complex corporate or multi-business level initiatives/projects.

• Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables
• Ability to take ownership and drive issues to closure
• PMP Certification
• Flexibility and willingness to go beyond the call of duty. Highly self-motivated and directed. (a go getter)
• Project Management software experience
• Ability to take the initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong team player with a great attitude
• Skilled in verbal, written and oral communication
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
