The Role

Lumenor is seeking a Project Controls Manager to Lead our Project Controls Department for the firm. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow the successful candidate a national perspective to deliver project controls services to transportation, transit, and utilities customers. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the full array of project controls functions spanning the Owner’s Representative, Engineering, or the Design Build perspective for large mega projects. We are looking for someone that has a passion for project controls, that can deliver large complex projects, and can drive the growth of the department through business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead proposal development for transportation planning projects, providing technical writing and strategic guidance.
• Actively engage on projects providing consulting services as a subject matter expert, project controls manager or task lead.
• Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals with a focus on fostering company culture, promoting professional growth and overseeing recruitment.
• Lead department’s business development and marketing activities to grow the pipeline of opportunities and continue to grow the company’s brand.
• Develop strategic growth plans for the department and contribute to company-wide strategic plans.
• Oversee operational aspects of the department including department budgets, resourcing, profitability, backlog, and project invoicing / aging.
• Manage a portfolio of complex project management and project controls projects ensuring quality, schedule and budget goals are met.

The Person

• Proven experience leading a team of staff.
• Experience on large complex projects programs in the transportation / transit industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Financial Management, Business Management or similar major.
• Experience with PMIS systems, dashboarding and data analytics.
• Proven Project Controls experience.
