We are actively searching for an Accounting Manager for our Global Headquarters in the North Charleston, SC area. You will have a direct line to the CFO, conquer their WIP/Project Based Accounting, and provide leadership and direction with all of the day-to-day financial accounting functions. Accounting Managers will oversee the job costing with the design, layout, testing, and evaluation of our projects.

This is a Hybrid opportunity, but you must live/relocate within driving distance of our Charleston, SC HQ.

Accounting Manager Duties:

• Review accounting records to ensure accuracy in accordance with US GAAP. Ensure consistent implementation of effective internal controls across all accounting departments
• Support the formal annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Review monthly forecasts for feasibility and reasonability. Partner with the Corporate Finance leadership team to generate the consolidated budget and forecast
• Review financial results and work with leadership to generate strategic initiatives to increase efficiency and improve profitability. Support the use of KPIs and dashboards to facilitate management decisions
• Partner with leadership to develop financial modeling to support growth strategies and enhance margin performance
• Preparing for Audits and working with Auditors during the Audit
• Support the preparation of quarterly financial analysis to be presented to leadership
• WIP, Project Based Accounting, and Job Costing
• Review month-end reconciliations and account-closing processes
• Responsible for being hands-on with the day-to-day financials, and managing/mentoring a couple of staff accountants as we grow, as well as helping implement standard accounting policies and procedures

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to make recommendations and implement changes required
• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining strong accuracy
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills essential
• Experience working with accounting technology, systems, and software
• Strong multitasking, planning, prioritizing, and executing skills are a must
• Strong ERP experience is a plus
• WIP/Project-Based Accounting
• 2+ years’ experience
