Senior Accountant/Controller Overview Mavin's Senior Accountant/Controller serves as a guide to oversee all financial and risk areas for the organization. They act as a trusted advisor to the CFO on all financial issues. Financial statements Dashboards Work-in-Process/Under and Over billing analysis and recording Prepares for and assist the CFO with the annual review with outside accounting firm and assistance with tax payments/ distributions for partners Prepares and assists CFO with annual budgeting and midyear re-forecasting Manages accounts receivables and deposits Prepares accounts payable disbursements Uploads credit card transactions into CMIC monthly Prepares biweekly payroll, reviews hours worked and uploads data into CMIC Requests necessary bank transfers Performs new job setup in CMIC and Isolved as a backup to Accountant Manages cell phones/iPads with Verizon for new and current employees Manages and assists with CMIC issues/user setup Assists Accountant as needed with certificate of insurance process for new and recurring vendors including issue resolution related to COI's Manages accounting storage area Supervision of Accountant and Maintenance/Office Assistant in job duties including: accounts payable, pay application processing, workflow routing in CMIC, accounts receivable deposit entry, credit card transaction coding, management of utilities, and A/R billing for maintenance Additional Responsibilities/Possible Assignments: Attend Industry Specific Events Train and mentor other Mavin employees Your Impact (Value + How You Make a Difference) Serves as a guide and leader for internal team, subs/vendors and clients on all things related to finances.
