Who We Are
The Indo-Pacific Department within the Program Development Team develops and implements new Cultural Vistas initiatives in the Indo-Pacific region. Our team works on new program design and project implementation for regional programs including workshops, conferences, small grants initiatives, as well as the Pacific Islands Professional Fellows reciprocal exchange program.
The Professional Fellows Program (PFP) is a two-way, global exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs designed to promote mutual understanding and enhance leadership and professional skills as well as build lasting, sustainable partnerships between mid-level emerging leaders from foreign countries and the United States.
Who You Are
To be successful in this job, you will be an experienced project manager with strong attention to detail who excels in multitasking and prioritization. You will be comfortable working with external stakeholders, from participants, to funders, to host organizations. You are also comfortable overseeing the development of program content, logistics, and participant engagement. You will have interest in the Indo-Pacific region. Specifically, interest in the Pacific is preferred.
Candidates located in Washington, DC or the DMV region are preferred, though not required.
What You'll Do
Your job will be to lead the program implementation for the Professional Fellows Program. You will ensure that program planning and delivery provides robust and meaningful experiences to participants in line with the mission of Cultural Vistas.
At any given time, you will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for the Professional Fellows Program at Cultural Vistas. Coordinating the project management within the organization, department, and program team. Supporting staff assigned to assist with program implementation. And ensuring that all program elements are implemented in line with the approved work plan.
You will report to the Assistant Director for Indo-Pacific Programs. Click here for a link to the full job description.
