Duties


This Investigative Program Specialist will be internally designated as the Team Lead for OPR's Intake Center. The Team Lead works with OPR management to ensure the timely and successful completion of allegations and reports from the Intake Center. The Team Lead will review work from other Investigative Intake Specialists for completeness and accuracy and will perform collateral duties such as assisting with database accesses, policies, procedures, and streamlining and innovation efforts. This position starts at a salary of $116,393.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $151,308.00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $151,308.00 (GS-14 Step 10). In this position you will independently planning, managing and ensuring the completion of investigations related to alleged violations, in addition to: Serve as the subject matter expert on all allegations and intake related matters and approve cases assigned to the field offices; Plan and manage investigations that involve highly visible cases that are central to agency objectives, to include international activities, high-level cases and investigations across different government agencies; Gather interviews and reports for review and follow up to create detailed Reports of Investigation and briefings; and Leads JIC employees to accomplish deadlines and increase team effectiveness and efficiency.
