Program Manager - Remote | Wfh

We are actively seeking a talented Program Manager to support specific DOE contracts. This is an exciting part-time contract position with the flexibility of remote work, although occasional on-site meetings in Washington D.C. may be required. If you're in the D.C. area, your application will be given preferred consideration.
Your Mission
As a Program Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful performance of our contracts. Your expertise will contribute to the vital mission of the Office of Research, Development Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) within the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). You'll collaborate with brilliant minds at various offices and international collaborators to make a significant impact on our nation's security.
Your Responsibilities
Validate and enhance project approaches, defining roles, stakeholders, risks, deliverables, review processes, and milestone dates.
Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand, document, and manage project scopes.
Enhance project governance and management documentation, ensuring smooth project execution.
Cultivate analytical thinking within our team and contribute to work breakdowns, resource allocation, and task complexity estimates.
Provide effective direction to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Manage client expectations with grace and professionalism to ensure successful project outcomes.
Oversee all communication from the Program's team, keeping stakeholders informed with timely and accurate updates.
Minimum Requirements
U.S. Citizenship
Master's Degree
20+ years of overall experience
10+ years of direct job-related experience
Valid and current DOE Q Clearance or DOD TS Clearance
Desired Requirements
Already possesses and maintains a valid DOE Q Clearance
