Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects according to Vibracoustic product development procedure.
  • Vibracoustic USA is headquartered in South Haven, MI, directly on Lake Michigan. A vast array of outdoor activities available on the SW Michigan coast, among communities repeatedly voted as best small towns in the U.S.
  • Help grow an exciting product team with opportunities for leadership and personal development.
  • Support transition to launch management team on time and within budget
  • Ensure lessons learned and best practices are utilized by development team
  • Vibracoustic leads the global NVH industry, providing innovative solutions for all current and future mobility challenges of our automotive customers.   • Take full responsibility for the project results in terms of quality, cost, and timing for all phases of the project from RFQ to EOP.
  • Our Air Springs team is looking for an experienced project manager. The ideal candidate has multiple years of experience within the automotive industry as a development engineer or project manager. Familiarity with OEM program timing and life cycles is important.   • Location:
  • Define baseline of projects after nomination and maintain accurate project timing and cost tracking throughout
  • Ensure effective and efficient communication within the project team - Execute regular project reviews (internal/external) and report on project status.
  • Support Vibracoustic team as key driver of projects within organization by facilitating communication and information flow between all support functions.

Qualifications

  • Strong communications skills with the confidence to manage difficult situations within a multi-cultural team.
  • Assertive team player with strong technical background able to collaborate efficiently with development and production teams.
  • Fluent in Spanish is preferred.
  • Technical or Engineering Degree
  • High level of emotional intelligence and willingness to continuously develop skillset.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in project management and/or application engineering, ideally in the automotive industry.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience in project management, preferably of projects>$10M.
