The CUNY School of Law seeks to hire a Program Manager for the CUNY Law First Impressions Youth Justice Legal Collaborative.
Under executive oversight, the program manager is the primary CUNY Law liaison with project partners United Neighborhood Houses (UNH), New York State Office of Court Administration (OCA), and CUNY Office of K-16 Initiatives (College Now) engaged in program creation and program management of a program model for NYS to provide at risk middle and high school youth with a positive first impression of New York’s justice system.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinating project work with law students at UNH locations and development of a student-let law school summer program
- Curriculum development support for UNH and development College Now courses for High School youth
- Developing and managing the program launch
- Creation of a virtual mentorship training and mentorship program
- Engagement with school alumni judges, court-identified personnel, and bar associations among others
Evening and weekend duties may be required.
This position is expected to end in three years, at the conclusion of the grant.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and eight years' relevant experience required.

- Administers all curricular, administrative, and financial aspects of the program
- Cultivates and maintains strategic partnerships; serves as primary liaison to faculty and administrators to plan and execute programming activities
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Oversees program evaluation efforts and creates strategic plan to further develop program offerings
- May participate in faculty recruitment efforts
- Designs, implements and monitors a comprehensive academic program development plan
- Manages annual budget; develops proposals and other initiatives for expanded program support
- Manages professional and clerical staff
