Program Coordinator, Long Island

Reporting to and working with the Regional Director for Long Island, the Program Coordinator will provide ongoing support in the following areas: program support, regional activities/competitions, and program expansion.

• Regional Activities/Competitions
• Boost school participation at regional trade shows and competitions
• Assist schools with program registration
• Onboard schools into the VE Hub system, an online system that houses school and VE company information.
• Coordinate and support regional competitions and trade shows
• Program Support
• Program Expansion
• Provide program support to the region, program partners, teachers, and students
• Organize and work with director to follow up with conference contacts
• Assist regional director with start-up operations.
• Manage the administration and collection of Pre/Post surveys
• Manage data collection from conferences for program growth
• Assist in the management of the lead tracking sheet
• Coordinate and support regional leadership conferences and student workshops for in-school and out-of-school activities

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office & Google applications
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Working knowledge of Long Island school communities
• Available to work 35 hours a week
• Well-organized, detailed oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet frequent and changing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently on concurrent projects
• Excellent communication, computer, and research skills
• Willingness to come into the office 2-3 times a week
