Responsibilities

The Supplier Outreach Program Coordinator will enhance the opportunity for business growth and supplier outreach opportunities in South Carolina. The position supports the Supplier Outreach Program Manager with all efforts related to in-person or virtual B2B Matchmaker events, Supplier Outreach events, SourceSC. The individual will manage and expand the SourceSC tool to include; participation growth with heavy emphasis on identifying direct suppliers, building supplier relations with SourceSC participants, outreach, awareness, marketing, and fulfilling sourcing requests. Individual will also be the agency lead for the Connex Marketplace collaboration w/ the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience .

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer experience in business, sales, marketing, economic development, small Business (companies with under 50 employees) as owner, employee, sales and service, or other related experience.

Additional Comments

This position requires statewide travel with occasional overnight travel. The applicant must possess a valid driver's license.
