The South Carolina Department of Administration’s Office of Executive Policy and Programs (OEPP) is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator II. Under general supervision, this position will log and route constituent mail, respond to constituent concerns, prepare correspondence and assist the OEPP Director with special projects.


Responsibilities Of The Program Coordinator II


  • Resolve constituent concerns by phone, email or in person by listening to issue(s), researching if necessary and making the appropriate referral. Provide appropriate follow-up as needed. Track case and update as necessary using constituent tracking system. Keep director abreast of trending or concerning issues.
  • Assist the Director with special projects within the Office of Executive Policy and Programs.
  • Sort incoming correspondence to the governor/lt. governor, and properly scan, log, and assign to the appropriate staff member. Work with ombudsman staff to coordinate assignment and reassignments and potential responses.
  • Assist division director with managing the day-to-day operations of the small and minority business office. Coordinate SMBCC leave requests and approved working times. Receive and enter small and minority business applications in tracking system. Assist SMBCC staff with reviewing applications to determine if applicant qualifies for certification. Assist with processing approvals or denials. Assist in answering applicant questions and scheduling site visits.


Minimum And Additional Requirements


A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Suite
