Accounting Intern Jobs

The Accounting Intern position will be an entry-level accounting and finance support function which assists the organization and provides first level training for the business intern. This position is intended to be a temporary, part-time position through the summer and is specifically designed for current college students. This is intended to be 20 hours per week (8 hrs Monday and Tuesday and 4 hours to be completed on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday)
Responsibilities: The Accounting Intern will be responsible for entry-level tasks within the accounting and finance department. This includes (but is not limited to) performing ClearPlan expense report reconciliations. This reconciliation requires the candidate to review expense reports and match to receipts, check for reasonableness (as described by the ClearPlan Accounting Supervisor) and ensure that overall expense elements are in accordance with ClearPlan expense policies and relevant deployment instructions. The candidate will also be available to assist in the processing of Accounts Receivable and in other data mining activities in support of other accounting and finance activities.
This position will report to the Accounting Supervisor and will be required (due to ClearPlan accounting timing) to perform expense report activities on Monday’s and Tuesday’s of each week.
