Job Description
Summary This position is responsible for the provision of a range of administrative duties supporting the Family Violence Education programming at the CRJ/Family Reentry Bridgeport and Norwalk offices. The position will support, and work in concert with, the program’s Domestic Violence Program Coordinators, while engaging clients and communicating with the referral source.


Duties And Responsibilities.


  • Responsible for contacting all clients with the details of their start dates and following up with multiple forms of communication as needed. Handling incoming calls and assist with the upkeep of program group scheduling.
  • Maintaining physical files, responsible for data entry Contractor Data Collection System (CDCS) case notes, attendance, group rosters and uploading discharge reports.
  • Maintains a mastery of the three FVEP locations/schedules/operations and program needs.
  • Adheres to best practices related to gender responsive and trauma informed strategies.
  • Sending texts/letters/links to remote groups as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Bridgeport and Norwalk/Stamford Program Coordinator
  • Cultivates and maintains professional relationships with community partners to facilitate referrals of clients and build a supportive network/partnership.
  • Acknowledging and printing the new referrals from CDCS for the FVEP programs.


Qualifications


  • Experience with Data collection and submission required
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Word and database portals required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an office setting providing customer services both on and in person required
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma associates degree or administrative training certificate preferred.
