Job Description

Private firm seeks a PROGRAM MANAGER to support the Associate Director focused on grant making within the foundation. Assist with Board engagement and communication in order to implement the Foundation’s philanthropic grant-making mission.

• Coordinate volunteer events and site visits; events with grantees and Board members

• Support internal communications to Board members

• Manage corporate matching-gift program

• Research and editing responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of grantees (reviewing grant proposals, performing due diligence and evaluation on assigned grant cycles)

• Prepare summaries of grant proposals, and Board meeting prep. materials

• Liaise with grantees to organize meetings and site visits

• Maintain grant-making database

Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience in non-profit or education sector.

• BA or BS Degree

• Ability to exercise diplomacy and solid judgment

• Self-starter able to work independently and proactively

• Approaches partnerships with grantees with humility and collaborative mindset

• Committed to development of personal leadership skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general comfort with technology and software

Excellent analytical, writing and editing skills

This position is based in Greenwich. Some hybrid work on occasion.
