In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period.:

We are seeking a Program Assistant to support faculty members within the Center for Molecular Oncology (CMO). The CMO was established in 2014 with the mission to promote precision oncology through the expansion of genomic analysis for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients.

- Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

The Translational Research Administration (TRA) community is comprised of administrative professionals for the MH Translational Research Programs, Departments and Centers. The activities of the administrators range from research/operations management to office management.
The TRA team partners with Faculty to provide operational, financial, and administrative support to facilitate the effective functioning of their research and academic efforts. We are seeking a Program Assistant to support faculty members within the Center for Molecular Oncology (CMO). The CMO was established in 2014 with the mission to promote precision oncology through the expansion of genomic analysis for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients.
As the TRA Program Assistant, you will!
- Assist faculty with administrative functions of laboratory management and research activities
- Manage faculty expenses and travel arrangements
- Manage highly sophisticated calendars for two faculty members
- Serve as a liaison between lab members and the faculty members; respond to their inquiries/requests as appropriate
- Maintain lab personnel records, certificate compliance, and ensure accurate payroll submission
- Assist with the development, planning, and execution of various projects in support of departmental operations and laboratory initiatives
- Provide administrative support to their research labs and supporting operational staff
- Assist in the acquisition and inventory management of supplies and IT equipment
- Provide faculty support coverage for other TRA admins when needed
- Coordinate interviews for recruitment of new staff and trainees across the department; provide onboarding to all new hires

You need:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-centered environment exercising judgment and discretion with limited immediate oversight
- Four years of healthcare experience or related experience preferred
- A High School Diploma or GED; Bachelors degree preferred
- Proven project management capabilities with the desire and ability to learn and develop additional project management skills
