Job Description
Role : Program Manager/Banking/Prime Services


Location : NJ/New York City/Midtown(Hybrid)


Candidates Must Have

Business group: Prime Services (Technology staff)


Project: The successful candidate will have a dynamic role of joining the Program Management team as they assist with deliverables for multiple projects throughout the SDLC cycle. Ensuring development teams are accountable for their work while overseeing changes will be the primary initiative for the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic department that will be managing various application streams that impact multiple areas of the bank. Exposure to various technologies and business lines will give the successful candidate critical transferrable skills.


Typical Day in Role


Assist with BAU (business as usual tasks) of follow ups to budget, task status, prioritization, commitment inquiries


Assist with developing, management of MIS reports for project/operational budgets and project statuses


Assist with developing, tracking and managing of delivery/project plans, timelines and scope


Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements


Assist with management of teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions


Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing


Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures


Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills


  • 2 + years' experience working in Financial Industry as a Project Manager
  • Excellent communication skills, high ability to articulate and present requirements to business line
  • 5 + years' experience working Microsoft Excel to create Macros and Pivot Tables (Advanced experience)
  • 5+ years' experience managing complex IT projects for enterprise environments,
  • 2 + years' experience managing resources to be accountable for completed work, proven through recent project experience


Nice-To-Have Skills


  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Recent Capital Markets experience is a big plus and will be prioritized


Degrees Or Certifications


Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
