Summary

This position is in the Office of Research (OR) within the Division of Research, Monitoring, and Regulations (RMR) at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The incumbent serves as the principal Program Analyst in OR with responsibility for managing procurement activities across the Office.

Responsibilities

As a Program Analyst (Procurement and Budget), you will:

  • Serve as the contracting officer's representative (COR) Level II on major OR contracts and alternative COR on all OR contracts.
  • Establish overarching guidance, training, policies, and processes for the management of procurement actions, contract spend tracking, contract management, system of managing records for all OR procurement actions and contracts, COR functions and reporting tailored to OR.
  • Serve as the lead technical subject matter expert on all OR acquisitions providing technical advice and guidance on all contracts and contract and financial management activities including contract availability, strategy, utilization, performance, budget, and status.
  • Lead the day-to-day management and coordination of OR's procurement portfolio to include develop, review, and advise OR staff on acquisition plans and strategies for all data and research-related procurements.
