Job Description

What You’ll Do
Work under the general direction of Jo Boaler and Cathy Williams to develop, implement, and administer the vision, strategy and goals of youcubed. Participate in youcubed strategy development, long-range planning, partnership development, resource development and implementation of the District Affiliate Program and development and implementation of youcubed networks.
Your Primary Responsibilities Include
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the youcubed affiliate program through content development, professional development delivery, teacher coaching and support to school district leaders.
  • Teach and or assist in the teaching and administration of online courses and teacher professional development. Create and/or advise in the development of curriculum and online resources for mathematics teachers.
  • Write and/or edit complex content for proposals, research grants, peer-reviewed publications, and other program activities.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of outreach and networking strategies for K-12 mathematics educators and parents.
  • Represent the broader university, external community, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, administer, and evaluate programs, including outreach to varied stakeholders: conducting research activities within the program; analyzing data, creating reports, reviewing trends, and making program improvement recommendations.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Ability to oversee and provide basic direction to staff.
  • Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree may be required for some programs. Program administration and or research experience may be required.
  • Demonstrated oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
  • Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of relevant experience or combination of education, teaching, professional development planning and delivery, teacher/administrator coaching, and curriculum development.
Desired Requirements
  • Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting a fluency in area of specialization; neuroscience, mathematics content and mathematics education.
  • Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.

The expected pay range for this position is $90 to $120 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
