General Job Mission

Lead the rationalization and optimization of the manufacturing methods and processes of the plant according to the Plant Direction and Industrial guidelines with the objective of giving support to the achievement of the Business Plan.

Job Functions

• Ensure the accomplishment of the Health & Safety policies and procedures in his/her area of responsibility.
• Assure the transfer of his/her “lesson learned” throughout the group.
• Research and develop new technologies of the productive processes, with the objective of improving the existing ones.
• Follow up the processes area indicators and define a action plan for improvement.
• Lead, develop and motivate the plant Processes team.
• Participate in technical processes to share best practices identified in the plant of responsibility.
• Follow up and assure the accomplishment in timing, cost and productivity of the new processes following the processes standards.
• Review technical requirements and specifications of the new processes, assuring they fulfill the productivity and investment targets defined.
• Observe Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices.
• Give support to the Project Managers in the preparation of proposals/offers to clients.
• Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Take part in the Plant Committee representing the Processes functions.
• Ensure that new developed processes follow the processes standards.
• Monitor and follow up the productive investments and assets in the plant.
• Provide his/her team with the necessary means to comply with Health & Safety and Environment rules and assure they are properly used.
• Actively cooperate with the Department in the maintenance, promotion and improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Environment.
• Define and implement specific PIs and KPIs to monitor and improve use of the management system.
• Coordinate the definition activities and/or the improvements of the production process equipments.
• Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering the company's values.
• Propose improvement of processes standards to corporate team.
• Reach price agreement with external subcontractors for new processes.
