Production Manager Jobs

The Production Manager is responsible for managing production supervisors. The position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Requirements:

• Bilingual candidates given preference.
• 5 or more years of production management experience within the food and beverage industry.

Basic job duties:

• Monitor, measure, and report on production related performance.
• Lead meetings with employees as required; and
• Ensure that the quality of the product produced meets specifications and adheres to the quality systems, processes, and procedures.
• Balance quality, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results and continuously improve in all areas.
• Ensure problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used by employees to identify root causes and to take fast, effective action to resolve production problems.
• Develop supervisors, help them identify areas where they need to improve and assign work or training that enables them to improve.
• Ensure that Health & Safety rules and regulations are adhered to, and all appropriate Health & Safety programs/policies are followed.
• Ensure effective employee relations. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution. Ensure supervisors provide employee coaching and administer performance contacts when needed.
• Work closely with Scheduling so that the overall performance of the company including Customer Service is maximized.
• Manage, develop, and motivate direct reports.
