Production Artist

We are looking for a skilled Production Artist to collaborate with our Design and Development teams to prepare and complete eLearning courses, digital Codes of Conduct, and various print and electronic projects. This role requires strong attention to detail along with a high level of knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, color theory, layout, and composition.

Production Artist Responsibilities:

·Collaborate with designers and developers

·Adapt design of eLearning courses for various screen sizes

·Build eLearning courses based on concepts and styles created by designer

·Prepare final, press-ready files or electronic PDF files based on supplied specifications

·Make various formats of supplied artwork

·Perform image searches

·Manipulate graphics and images

·Organize and maintain an image and icon library

·Maintain production files, including fonts, images, logos, and other artwork

·Troubleshoot problems as they arise in digital and print work

·Stay up to date with current graphic design trends, techniques, and software

·Follow a project schedule using project management software

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stay on task and see projects through to completion
• Positive, collaborative attitude

·Ability to effectively communicate complex information clearly and simply

·Strong analytical, time management, and organizational abilities

·Excellent sense of color theory, composition, layout, and design

• Portfolio demonstrating knowledge of print and digital production
• Previous experience with eLearning authoring tools, including Elucidat and/or Articulate Storyline a strong benefit, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2 to 4 years production experience on a design team
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Passion for Rethink’s products and for serving our clients

Hours: Full-time, fully remote

Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000
