Packaging Production Artist Jobs

Job Summary

The Packaging Production Artist for House Brands will provide support and be responsible for all aspects of supplement label production, ensuring that the creative concepts are executed to brand standards. Prepare content, images, color, and layouts to route for approval. Implement all edits, create files for release, and approve printer proofs.This role is more technical and less creative.

Job Expectations

• Review proofs for accuracy
• Update existing templates and assets for both print and digital with brand information.
• Create and maintain electronic and physical archives
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Create artwork with a focus on print and packaging
• Create, update, and design layout for print – boxes, labels, and packaging forms
• Train full-time and freelance design and production associates in production procedures and standards, when required
• Experience with production for retail and point of sale merchandising is a plus
• Add and update final copy – Nutritional/ Supplement Facts, Ingredient Statements, Legal Copy
• Collaborate with team members on design, information, and expectations
• Prepare artwork for the printer
• Ensure packaging is aligned with brand standards

• A high degree of accuracy and precision with the quality of the work product
• Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Detail-oriented and an organized, team-player
• Ability to communicate written and verbally in a professional manner with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts

Equipment Knowledge

• Asana "work management" platform
• Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Mac OS
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience Requirements

Generally requires a minimum of 3-5 years of design experience in Adobe Creative Suite.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

$85,000—$173,775 USD
