Senior Product Researcher (Consultant)

San Francisco, CA (Financial District) – Hybrid Remote 2-3 days per week.

Duration is: 4 to 5 months - may extend

Our financial services client is in the final stages of launching a new financial product. As part of the product launch, they are conducting a production beta test with real customers and require a Senior Product Researcher to lead this effort.

• Primary Responsibilities (New Product Beta Test): Finalize the beta program materials
• Finalize beta program logistics
• Recruit beta participants
• Conduct the beta test

• Product research may be early-stage exploratory research or may be later-stage usability research
• Secondary Responsibilities – Product Research (for other products)Partner with Product, Design, Lines of Business, and Marketing to conduct Product Research

• You have deep customer focus and experience with researching and determining customer needs.
• You are comfortable working closely with Product and Design.
• You have a high energy, can-do attitude with willingness to do what it takes to get things done.
• Role Requirements:You have a minimum five years of product research and/or UI/UX research experience; Financial Services industry preferred.
• You are self-directed with no ego, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented environment.
• You have strong organization, analytical, and planning skills. Ability to maintain multiple projects without compromising results.
• Strong communicator across different audiences and communication styles. Can simplify tough problems and effectively explain them to a non-technical audience.
• You are highly quantitative, analytical, and business-minded with an ability to pursue complex problems in an organized way.
