Product Quality Engineer - Automotive Industry

Akkodis is seeking a Product Quality Engineer for a full-time, long-term contract position in the Louisville, KY area. Qualified candidates will require greater than 6 months of professional experience (prior internships are acceptable) focused on quality standards within a manufacturing environment. The engineer will be responsible for leading quality improvements towards exterior body subsystems by analyzing quality data and progressing priorities through structured problem-solving methods while ensuring all process and design changes are thoroughly verified and validated to avoid quality issues to vehicle platforms.

Pay Range: $37-42/hr (commensurate based on experience level)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Greater than 6 months of professional experience within a manufacturing environment involving quality standards.
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
