Description:

This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Product Owner supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.

Responsibilities:

• Support preparation and presentation of briefings and demonstrations to customer.
• Assess progress and report status to leadership.
• Interface with the Run Ahead, Platform & Infrastructure, Networks and other technical leadership Teams and communicate priorities to the Product Team.
• Responsible for driving value delivery for the Track Services applications, as part of a complex missile defense command and control system.
• Act as the technical interface with the Government.
• Coordinate and prioritize needs for multiple Task Orders.
• Specify stakeholder needs to drive the frequent delivery of value to the customer.
• Prepare Engineering Estimates and Basis of Estimates for Task Instructions and RFPs.
• Support the accomplishment of Earned Value Management by working closely with the CAMs providing required information to assess EV performance and assist with variances and ETCs.
• Work with other Product Teams and ARTs to plan and execute program releases.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or other technical leadership position in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrated experience in performing stakeholder management in a large, complex Development program.
• Demonstrated experience specifying customer needs and managing customer priorities.
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics) or equivalent years’ experience.
• Experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and automated test tools.
• Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Fourteen (14) plus years of relevant experience
• Experience leading and managing cross functional teams in the development and integration of large, complex software applications.

Desired Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience implementing Cyber Security/RMF requirements.
• Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.
• Knowledge of common software development and management tools such as Maven, git/gitlab, Nexus and Eclipse.
• Experience and understanding of Earned Value Management in a software development environment.
• SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) certification strongly desired.
• Command and control system application development.
