Ford is in the middle of a Supply Chain Transformation. One of the key focus areas is to enable transparency by implementing Supply Collaboration technology solutions that bring visibility to the extended, multi-tier supply chain and enable Ford to collaborate with supply chain partners in balancing capacity and forecast, and ensure constraints and risks are efficiently mitigated to ensure minimal production disruptions. The Supply Chain Management IT group is looking for a Product Manager who will



  • Help drive production implementation and focus on software delivery to support the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders and suppliers for both today and tomorrow
  • Create and maintain PDO product management processes and procedures
  • Have an opportunity to learn, shape and adopt new tools, practices, and processes
  • Collaborate with other Supply Chain workstreams and enterprise ecosystems to achieve integrations across multiple systems



Responsibilities


What you'll do…


  • Perform release planning, scheduling, and coordination with development teams, quality assurance, and stakeholders
  • Track upcoming Change request and Requirements to update test cases and validate specific requirements
  • Facilitate adoption of relevant Ford processes, employ/champion Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques
  • Participate in governance activities from communications to finances to keep cross functional leadership informed and escalate as required
  • Innovate on the product manager process and ceremonies to ensure all work within the team produces the most value possible
  • Establish framework and procedures for product teams to be responsible for coordinating the implementation and management of product delivery release processes
  • Manage backlog of stories for coordinating the implementation and management of system delivery release processes
  • Grow subject matter expertise, provide guidance to other members on the team and detail our capabilities to help educate partners
  • Manage system delivery releases across different environments (e.g., development, testing, staging, production)
  • Manage Supply Chain Financials - Forecast, Invoicing, Recompilation of Actuals
  • Manage change management processes to ensure smooth and controlled releases across various environments
  • Coordinate with Product managers, architects Product Owners, vendors to establish gates and process control to ensure validate release reliability and stability
  • Familiar with Demand Planning and PDO Next Processes
  • Identify risks, and implement mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of Risks
  • Partner with Product Owners and develop and as required execute test scenarios at various levels (functional, user acceptance) within Agile Framework
  • Lead ceremonies and team of team events that help define the work to be done, improve team process, and align the team to specific objectives



Qualifications



You'll have...


  • Proven record of managing and launching efforts as a Product Manager
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
  • Third party cloud platforms/tools implementation experience
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion) and release management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate and establish trust and positive relationships across teams
  • Understanding of software testing principles and practices, including test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing/maintaining Product Line/Group financial health
  • Willing to work on a highly collaborative teams fulfilling different roles and fill gaps
  • Proactive attitude and not afraid to ask question and ability to operate with an Agile mentality in an ambiguous environment
  • Familiarity with software build and deployment processes, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • 5+ years’ experience in Agile, cloud-based Java/PCF/Azure/GCP development and operations
  • Ability to forecast target dates for features using historical data
  • Familiarity with Change Management methodologies and tools
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing work based on business needs
  • Demonstrated Ability to lead and guide teams through the release process, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science/Engineering/IT

  • Technically inclined with experience and/or exposure of Java, Spring, APIs and Microservices
  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously
  • Familiarity with PDO Next
  • Prior experience coaching/mentoring teams
  • Appreciation for partners is key to be a phenomenal teammate
  • Exposure to automated testing concepts, tools, and frameworks
  • Business acumen – Purchasing, MP&L, Manufacturing, Service, Order to Delivery and Product Development
  • Ability to work with multi-functional teams for deliverables and timing
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and become productive in new concepts quickly
  • Experience working with Partners, Global teams, agile mindset and complex integrations
