Job Summary
- Provide forecasting support for manufacturing, distribution, and budgeting for assigned product lines
- Identification of training opportunities to increase job efficiency and personal development
- Promote the STEMCO / Enpro Culture by exhibiting the five principles of exemplary leadership: Modeling the Way, Inspiring a Shared Vision, Enabling Others to Act, Challenging the Process, and Encouraging the Heart
- In conjunction with marketing, develop catalogs, collateral material, sales bulletins, advertising and supporting documents necessary to support sales efforts.
- Initiate product changes and upgrades to provide technologically advanced products and continue to build the STEMCO brand. Work with cross functional teams to accomplish new product development and product iterations
- Responsible for margin performance of product line through pricing analyses and quoting activities
- Support salesforce efforts in the field, provide product training and information to sales personnel. Travel in support of salesforce, customers and market research/voice of customer feedback. Assist with customer intelligence and liaise with salesforce on customer experience follow-up
- Responsible for leading the organization in new product development. Acts as the liaison between field sales and the organization to provide an efficient flow of information. Project management of major category changes and improvements is required, including competitive benchmarking and market developments
- Work closely with Marketing to develop product branding and market communication strategy. Assist in developing supporting product material including advertisements, catalogs, brochures, videos and other material to support customers and Sales team members.
- Initiate incremental product enhancements to provide technically advanced products
- Prioritization of the portfolio of initiatives and project management of individual product initiatives
- Develop business cases to support new distinctive product developments & innovations
- Develop product requirements based upon VOC and understanding the competitive landscape.
- Develop the long term strategy and vision for assigned group of STEMCO Products
- Communicate product road maps to all of the relevant participants and stakeholders
- Management of product development through commercialization
- Coordination and follow up within internal stakeholders ensuring success on large commercial opportunities
- Responsible for the margin performance of the product line. Work closely with Production and Supply Chain to optimize cost along with Commercial leaders on pricing strategy
- Excellent Communicator, both verbal and written English required.
- Public speaking and ability to use customer presentation using tools such as PowerPoint are required.
- Travel frequency up to 25% per month.
- Developer and coach of employees within the sphere of influence.
- Qualified individual will have a 4 year degree, MBA degree is preferred
- Ability to manage through influence within all levels of management.
- Multi-site teamwork and cross functional collaboration experience required.
- Basic understanding of income statement related matters such as direct material and labor costs and how these impact gross margin is required.
- Results driven using data and analytics with the ability to explain the why.
- Knowledge of the heavy duty truck industry preferred, 5+ years in the industry is preferred
- Basic working knowledge of software such as Google, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Customer channel management experience preferred.
- Well organized, working with a high level of rigor and discipline.
