The Product Manager for Experian RentBureau will manage Experian RentBureau platform for the rental industry and drive planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle - including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Client Services and external partners to ensure revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals are met. The role will also work closely with the product team that manages rental data solutions delivered to the rental industry over Connect API platform, Decision & Analytics team that manages the RentBureau Attributes as well as the Data Management team that works closely through Furnisher onboarding and data management within RentBureau and File One.

We seek a candidate eager to join a start-up atmosphere – supporting solutions that are new to Experian. Rental industry expertise in critical.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as a leader within the Experian and the industry
• Engaging in thought leadership and demonstrating comfort initiating/engaging in difficult conversations
• Identifying, and managing risk in a thoughtful, wise, and logical manner
• Evangelizing Experian RentBureau inside of Experian - Develop and maintain exceptionally strong relationships throughout Experian to ensure alignment of business objectives and opportunities – have a strong ability to gain followership/support and consensus.
• Collaborating with other leaders on this multi-year, major strategic initiative to build a new business
• Become an expert with respect to the industry, competition, and emerging players
• Influencing cross-functional teams, including senior executives

Qualifications

Background

• Proven success navigating large, matrixed organizations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to assume leadership positions
• Consensus-building abilities with a proven track record of coordinating and mobilizing resources productively.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, take initiative and prioritize multiple work items.
• Highly professional and credible - interacting at all levels both internally and externally
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Have/quickly develop an intimate knowledge and experience of the rental industry, players, data, and marketing analytics
• Self-starter, comfortable to start projects from a blank sheet of paper

Must remain flexible and be comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
